Christine A. McClane joined the Law Offices of Barbara G. Azimov as an associate attorney in 2004. Ms. McClane focuses on divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, domestic violence cases and mediation of all family law issues.
Ms. McClane attended law school in upstate New York at Albany Law School of Union University, graduating in May 2000. She is licensed to practice law in all courts of New York State and the State of California and is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Since 2001, Ms. McClane has provided pro bono service to victims of domestic violence who are in need of restraining orders, through Neighborhood Legal Services in Pacoima, California. During law school, Ms. McClane became a member of Phi Alpha Delta, participated in a program called “Serve Albany,” which provided legal counseling to elderly clients and clients dealing with various family law issues and won the 1999 ASCAP legal writing contest.
Ms. McClane has recently been accepted into Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution Master’s Degree/Certificate Program, where she will continue to study mediation.
Prior to attending law school Ms. McClane received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a double major in Music Performance and Psychology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York in 1996, graduating cum laude. Ms. McClane received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York in 1997, graduating summa cum laude.
